Sounds bad but lately, pot really bores me. Everything to me has boiled down to is it kush or is it weed? I blame SoCal and its recent Kush craze and with it came an influx of all sorts of hybrid kushs labeled “kush” almost as a marketing gimmick. Because of this, I too played part of the kush culture and thought “kush is the tip of the iceberg, pot doesn’t get better than this.” Last week, I ran into crop grown that changed my views about pot. I now have realized that any pot grown to perfection, will blow any kush out of the water. Northern Lights #9.

Northern Lights #9 – 80% Sativa/20% Indica – nugs are completely coated over with crystals that would make any Kush green with envy. Stuff smells like lemon peels, and glimmers in the sunlight. Side to side next to my OG Kush, stuff has larger tricombs, is stiffer with resin, and makes what is otherwise BOMBASS OG, look rather unattractive. When smoking, it’s odd. There is no kush “gas” zing to it, but is far smoother than any kush I’ve had, and crushes with a citrusy zing that I’ve only experienced when I’ve had a bowl with earwax or amber glass hash oil. When it comes to THC PPM’s I’m sure this NL#9 easily rivals or is near hash. And thats a bold statement considering this is the first Sativa that’s ever packs such a wallop it dusts any OG any day of the week.
Here is a pic of a Purple OG Kush clone. It was placed in soil and put outside. One week after being transplanted this medical marijuana clone began flowering. What a gorgeous, aromatic plant she has become. Stay tuned for more.
