I haven’t had anything in the purple family that I thought was worth my while, until I stumbled upon this Mr. Nice. Every nug is stiff like bubba kush, and despite being dark purple in color, appears to be baby lavender because there’s so much frost going on. Smokes even better, with a crazy lung crush and instant stone that I swear, is heavier than OG. A total indica for sure.
So apparently, Larry OG kush, the original OG strain, started out in Western Canada, made its way down to California where it was modified, taken to the east coast and some how was crossed with sourdiesel to yield Chemdog OG kush. Looks exactly like typical OG, but is MUCH sweeter, similar to Sour Diesel. However, it has the density and thick nuggets associated with OG. All these varieties are so awesome. So many strains, so little time to smoke them all.
Nothing makes me smile like the smell of classic purps. That acrid stink reminds me of so many days of rolling it up into a swisher and letting the good times roll on. Purps is the only bud i’ll ever let water leaves slide, just because they are so covered over in beautiful crystals that contrast so well with the dark purple color tone of the bud. Smokes sweet and smooth.
Oh man, this is some original OG from way back in the day. A guy who I refer to as the dank strain dictionary always insisted that if I ever ran across Larry OG, I should do backflips. Apparently Larry OG is the purest form of OG. I agree. Smoke is major flavor country and had more of the flowery part of OG versus the gassy and tar flavor often found with many OG’s. I like.
I first discovered the blue dream family roughly 3 years ago and have always enjoyed any hybrid carrying its genetics. I ran across this strawberry dream today and wow what a come up. Smokes like bluedream but more tart and has way more crystals. Stinks more than kush holy cow. WTF.

Yes! I went to a local dispensary last night to pick up some medication. I found that they had medicated hot sauce there (more on that later) and asked how much it cost. The budtender told me that it’s more of a novelty item and she usually gives it away with the purchase of two sodas. My eyes immediately went to the available medicated sodas.
I got this Grand Daddy Purple Soda. Grape drink that gets me high? YES!!! The taste as described. Grape drink with a slight marijuana after taste. I drank half of the soda
What can I say, I LOVE OG. Anything related to OG has a place for smoking anytime, anyplace.
Headband OG Kush – 75% Indica / 25% Sativa – Headband is no exception being a triple hybrid cross consisting of : master kush x NYC sour diesel x OG kush. Tastes incredible, like lavender flowers – and stinks like pinesol with the whole OG jet fuel thing going on as well. Stuff heavy. One puff and couchlock.
All I used to hear during my rookie pot days was “dude i’ve got this G13 and its government weed.”
G13 – 50% Sativa / 50% Indica - Nugs are like tiny little strawberries ready to be plucked from their stems. Overall, nugs are all tiny and dense, very similar to silver haze / hawaiian punch in appearance. Smells very earthy, with hints of citrus upon squeezing the orange hair covered nugs. I rolled this g13 into a bleezy and it was perfect.
Still a HUGE fan regardless of new strains or not, OG’s the bomb. When you need to chill out and go into veg mode, this is your stuff. OG fans know, when they smell that jet fuel, its a gooooood sac.
Bubblegum OG Kush
Bubblegum OG Kush – 100% Indica – smells like bubblegum mixed with a bunch of pine sol. Upon smoking, stuff tastes INCREDIBLE with lots of lung crush. A definite winner when I’m looking for something really heavy.
